3rd Annual Holiday Concert at the Irvington Town Hall Theatre

The 3rd Annual Rob Evan and Friends Holiday Concert and reception was last night in Irvington, NY. It was awesome!

The cast and the program were well chosen, and the Irvington Town Hall theatre was full for this concert to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation. In addition to Rob himself, we also had the pleasure of performances from George Merritt, John Tracey Egan, Matt Bogart, Rita Harvey, Alex Santoriello, Christy Tarr, Bill Evans, Mark McVey, Robert Longo, Gabrielle Prata, Angela Christian, Angie Covington, and Bruce Roberts. Rob showed us again his amazing voice and many faceted talents - performing "Time to Say Goodbye" with Gabrielle, "Northbound Train," an amazing comedic turn with Alex in "Anything You Can Do", a bit as a backup singer (!) in "All that Jazz" with Christy, and as the genial host, narrator, and link to everything else. This was not a "usual" Rob Evan concert; he did not do what we have come to regard as "his" signature songs, but what he did, he did real good, and he showed the world the fact that even tho' he is Jekyll, he is not only Jekyll! The only thing constant is change might become Rob's mantra for the millennium.

The Irvington Town Hall Theatre is a small venue, holding just under 400. All of us who were fortunate enough to be there were pleased, and perhaps will spread the word that this is a real nice holiday gift for us to give ourselves, or a very good friend! I wish you all the Holiday Happiness you want, and deserve. Be careful out there!
