Athens Georgia Concert

Well, the Athens Concert is now history, and again, part of Georgia has been stormed, this time, by a Southern Gentleman, come "home", or near home!

Rob rocked , he pranced, he strutted, and he SANG....oh my did he sing!

He did the songs we love to hear, he did them (and us) proud...and then as a tribute to his home state, he added GEORGIA on my Mind as an encore. OK all ... if you choose to say that "Linda is NOT being an objective reviewer," so what! I am saying that as great as the Concert was, "Georgia" had the audience in tears, and all was well with the world, at least in the beautiful Classic Center.

We got to Georgia on Thursday; Rob and Neil met their band for the first time that afternoon, and whipped and cajoled and sweet-talked them into shape!

Neil Berg's TWILIGHT has never sounded so mellow and poignant. He played the music marvelously! These two guys go well together.....a delight to hear. Jeri Sager did MEMORY oh so well! And then she and Rob did MOTN, and YOU ARE MY HOME as if it were written for them, and THEM alone!

Putting on a Concert "LONG DISTANCE" was hard work (trust me on this), but folks, what a pleasure to see the end product of your work!
