Were You There?

Westchester Broadway Theatre Concert

Well, folks, if you were NOT there last night, you really missed SOMETHING!

OK, audience reaction is subjective, and THAT being said, I plunge onward, into the fire of reaction to magic. Even if it were a pure thing, the imagination and the mind boggles at what we saw, and heard!

Rob sang his heart out, in many songs (22, actually) we know and love, and some that the audience at large had not experienced. What Rob did to/with TITM, MOTN, and BHH cannot be discussed by me without irreparably harming my PC. LAST WALTZ for DIXIE even reached some Northeners, I am sure. GETHSEMANE was sung as I have NEVER heard it done before, and I have heard it MANY times. Not only was the singing awesome, the emotion, the expression were surreal!

Rob did duets with JT Egan and Brandi Massey from J&H, and I am not able to be objective and/or rational, but perhaps you knew that??

I cannot close this report/review without mentioning Jeremy Roberts and that BAND! Yes, oh yeah, it WAS ROB'S concert; but manomanoman, the musicians pulsed, roared, and enhanced what Rob gave us.

Rob himself announced the return date for Jekyll, October 4; stay tuned for whatever else comes. The NEXT announced concert is 17 November, in Athens, GA, at Rob's alma mater, UGa.

Boy, if you missed it, did you ever!

BRAVO, ROB!
