Johnny Guitar The Musical

Good day, cowgirls and cowpokes,

I waited about one month to send this review/report out to you. I know some of you have seen this delightful piece; we have met and spoken there. Wal, as they say, you can only get hanged once, so here I go.

Johnny Guitar, the musical, is just that. It is taken from the 1954 western of the same name, but that is where the line is drawn. Taken from would seem to be the key words.

This musical / camp / spoof shows you yet another new Rob. I am assuming that all of you know that this man can act, and SING (yeah!!), but did you also know that he has a brilliant sense of silliness and comic timing??? Did you?

This is not, no way no how, Jekyll or Les Mis; no heavy drama here; but, it has very quickly become Rob Evan.

The tunes, the action are well written and directed, and thus they become a joy to watch as Rob brings them to life.

I love the show, I love the people, I would love to see you at the lovely Century Centre Theatre. It is well worth the trip for the joy I feel you will take in seeing yet another side of Rob.

A bit of tuneful laughter cannot hurt, so join us .

I hope to see y'all there, podners.
